Tirani Kulathunge
As a Policy and Advocacy Analyst and Team Lead at the Advocata Institute, she leads the Institute’s land policy pillar alongside the research team, focusing on land governance, property rights, research, and reform advocacy.
She also leads Advocata’s Chatham House Roundtable programme, convening policymakers, industry stakeholders, and researchers to discuss key economic governance and reform issues.
With four years of experience in economic governance and institutional reform, her work spans parliamentary engagement, donor and stakeholder relations, and community-level advocacy including over two years as an independent research consultant in Matara, advocating for infrastructure corrections affecting paddy cultivation along the Nilwala River.
She holds a BSc in International Relations from the University of London (LSE), and has completed further studies through IE Business School (Globalization, Economic Growth, and Stability) and the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (The Art and Science of Economic Policy), alongside professional development in project and program management with IBM.
With a strong commitment to excellence, he continues to contribute to Advocata Institute’s mission of fostering sound public policy and sustainable economic growth.
