Sarasi Amarasinghe

As the Senior Data Analyst at Advocata Institute, she contributes to quantitative research and evidence-based advocacy.

She holds an MBA and a BSc. (Hons) in Industrial Statistics from the University of Colombo, along with professional qualifications in Information Technology from the British Computer Society (BCS). With 15 years of professional experience, she has conducted research on health and social security policy, developing expertise in quantitative methods and the analysis of large and complex datasets.

Prior to joining Advocata Institute, she worked at the Institute for Health Policy, where she conducted research on health systems and financing, and population ageing in Sri Lanka and the Asia-Pacific region, and contributed to peer-reviewed scientific publications.

She brings extensive experience in quantitative research and data-driven policy analysis to her work at Advocata Institute, supporting the Institute’s mission of fostering sound public policy and sustainable economic growth.
