Roles and responsibilities
Innovatively edit videos to tell a visual story.
Create high-quality video content under tight deadlines.
Multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously.
Use understanding of digital trends and editing principles to create engaging video and audio content.
Assist in recording and editing podcasts.
Conceptualize and materialize projects.
Create concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects.
Assist in capturing studio-quality video and audio footage.
Collaborate with the team to produce excellent video content.
Preferred skills in motion graphics.
Eligibility
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in video editing, visual communication, film, or other related field.
Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics, digital special effects, animation, multi-media art, computer animation or computer graphics.
Creative experience in filmmaking and videography
Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a multimedia editor, video editor, or a similar role.
Good time-management skills.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Deep understanding of digital trends and editing principles
Preferred Skills
Strong proficiency in motion graphics and animation (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro).
Compensation
This position offers a remuneration package ranging from LKR 80,000 - LKR 130,000 based on experience and qualifications, Advocata offers a stimulating work environment with the energy and culture, focused on impact.
